What to Expect
Lake District White Water Rafting’s trips take place on some of the most spectacular rivers in the UK. The meeting location is based on the best water conditions, so flexibility is key. While meeting points vary, all of our locations are within or around the Lake District, with Keswick and Kendal both within an hour’s drive.
If you prefer to keep your rafts private to your team, you will need the respective number of private rafts to accommodate your group. Each private raft holds 2 – 6 people, but shared rafts may hold up to 8 people, depending on water levels and raft size.
Raft Options
💰 Shared Rafts (Per Person) – Join a raft with other participants. The raft guide will allocate seating on the day.
🛶 Private Raft (2 – 6 People) – Keep the raft exclusive to your group.
🚣 Larger Groups – Choose between shared rafts or booking additional private rafts as needed.
Raft allocations are determined by the guides on the day, so while we always try to keep groups together, we can’t guarantee that everyone will be on the same shared raft.
However, all rafts stay together on the water and take part in games, making it a fun, interactive, and social experience.
If you’d like to keep your rafts private, you will need the respective number of private rafts for your group.
