What to Expect
Our rafting trips take place on some of the most scenic rivers in the UK.
We adjust our locations based on water conditions, so flexibility is key. While our meeting points vary, we typically launch from one of two main locations, both offering beautiful scenery and a true outdoor adventure.
Our meeting points vary, but all of our locations are within or around the Lake District National Park. The furthest north we may go is Lazonby in Penrith, while the rest of our locations are in the Southern Lakes.
Raft Options
💰 Shared Rafts (Per Person) – Join a raft with other participants. The raft guide will allocate seating on the day.
🛶 Private Raft (2 – 6 People) – Keep the raft exclusive to your group.
🚣 Larger Groups – Choose between shared rafts or booking additional private rafts as needed.
Each private raft holds 2 – 6 people, while shared rafts may hold up to 8, depending on water levels and raft size.
⚠ Shared Raft Allocations – Our guides determine raft allocations on the day, so while we always try to keep groups together, we can’t guarantee everyone will be in the same shared raft. However, all rafts stay together on the water and take part in games, making it a fun, interactive, and social experience.
If you’d like to keep your rafts private, you will need the respective number of private rafts for your group.
Important Information
✔ Ability to Swim Required – All participants must be able to swim.
✔ Weight Limit – Maximum weight per participant is 20 stone.
✔ Accommodation Advice – We recommend choosing accommodation that suits your group, keeping in mind that travel to the meeting point will be required. Here are two locations within an hour’s drive of the locations:
🏡 Kendal – Ideal for quick M6 access.
🌃 Keswick – A good option if you’re planning a night out.
✔ Flexible Meeting Points – We chase the best water conditions, so be prepared to travel.
✔ Trip Durations May Vary – Keep this in mind when planning afternoon excursions or evening meals – flexibility is key!
✔ VAT Invoices Available – Let us know if you require one.
