Where Do We Raft?
Our meeting points vary, but all of our locations are within or around the Lake District National Park.
✔ The furthest North could be Lazonby in Penrith.
✔ The rest of our trips take place in the Southern Lakes.
✔ We always chase the best water conditions, meaning flexibility is key to ensuring the best rafting experience.
We encourage groups to focus on the adventure itself rather than a fixed location.
Keswick and Kendal are both within an hour’s drive, making them great accommodation options.
Group Sizes & Supervision
✔ Up to 21 participants per session, across three rafts (each carrying up to 6 people, plus an adult leader).
✔ On occasion, we can take up to 28 participants, depending on staffing and availability.
✔ Larger groups can be split into morning and afternoon sessions.
✔ Minimum age: 8 years old.
What to Bring for Your Rafting Adventure
✔ Trainers or walking boots – Must have a sturdy sole to protect feet from rocks. (Wet shoes are not suitable.) These will get wet!
✔ Swimsuit – To wear under the wetsuit.
✔ Towel – For drying off after rafting.
✔ Dry shoes & warm clothing – To change into after the trip.
Safety & Licensing
✔ All raft guides hold outdoor first aid qualifications.
✔ Fully licensed by AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) – meeting the highest UK safety standards for outdoor adventure activities.
